Get away from it all....Come to Phillips Pond.  Open for memberships, Phillips Pond is located in northwest Randolph County, GA.  This privately owned 150 acre lake was originally built as a mill pond in the 1930's.  Broken in 1994, by Tropical Storm Alberto, it was rebuilt and stocked with bluegill, largemouth bass, shell crackers, and catfish.  Annual memberships include all dependents in a household all year, plus two guests up to six days a month.  Picnic and barbeque facilities as well as camper hook-ups are available.

Directions:

From U.S. 27; From Lumpkin, go south on US 27 4 miles to CoRd 146.  Go 6 miles, to 1st dirt road to left (CR 3) after passing County Line Baptist Church.  Go 2 miles (Stewart CR 3 becomes Randolph CR 28) to stop sign.  Go right 300 yards on CR 27, then left on CR 29.  Go 3 miles to CR 30, go right on CR 30 ¼ mile to pond.

From US 82; From Cuthbert, GA, go west 7 miles to Springvale, right (North) on CR 31, 2 miles, right on CR 20, 11/2 miles, left on CR 30, ¼ mile to pond.
